GEAR:30 Buyer, Greg Reynolds, finished his first one hundred mile trail run last weekend. Crazy thing is he only had three weeks of preparation. We chat with him to learn how he went from "couch to hundy" in just days. And, no, it's not a recommended training strategy.

Our second episode podcasting LIVE from the GEAR:30 Lounge went much smoother. Sound is good. Doubled our studio audience from one to two. We even had a guest on the show.

After three-plus years of broadcasting from KWCR studios, the Ogden Outdoor Adventure Show is now moving to the GEAR:30 Lounge. Huge thanks and gratitude to 88.1 Weber FM for allowing the OOA Show to air!
"The Move" allows the OOA Show to bring in product reps and athletes who can promote and endorse which is not really allowed when broadcasting on non-profit airwaves. Also, because we plan to record live in the GEAR:30 Lounge, the public is invited to hangout with us and watch the podcast magic go down. So, join us live at GEAR:30, Thursday's between 1pm - 2pm-ish.
The format remains basically the same.

Todd to the Top took over the airwaves for this episode so I could "walk the walk" in the Uinta's and test some backpacking gear.
We were fortunate enough to have award-winning songwriter and composer, Kristin Andreassen in studio before her show at the Ogden Nature Center. Andreassen's music is influenced by American traditional music, including the old time string band tunes. She has toured throughout North America, Australia & Europe with her string band Uncle Earl (with Abigail Washburn, Rayna Gellert & KC Groves).
