Always nice when an October snowstorm brings 42 inches of fresh to our hometown. If poaching freshies were a crime, well... put us away. It's that weekend of the year where little pirates, princesses, heroes, and ghouls visit the Ogden Nature Center for Creatures of the Night. This annual Halloween themed wildlife event is family fun for all ages. What better way to introduce your kids to the wonders of nature while maintaining an excuse to dress-up like their favorite fantasy or cartoon character?
Brandi Bosworth, Special Projects Coordinator for the Center, came on the Ogden Outdoor Adventure Show to share this year's updates to the wildly successful event. Listen to the interview here:

Joining Silveria, was Greg Lazarus, the Flowboarding League of the World Operations Manager. This weekend's festivities include concerts, a free athlete meet and greet, and free viewing of the event. It is open to the public. Top international competitors and teams from Europe, Asia, and U.S.A. are traveling to Ogden, Utah for the prestigious world championship title. It's weird, but for our Salomon Central Episode, we invited a Salomon rep onto the show to chat, well, Salomon gear. Lance Taylor, the local rep for the iconic mountain brand who lives and works in Ogden out of the American Can Building housing parent company Amer Sports, spent some time chatting about the vastness of Salomon's footwear products, backpacks, and even upgraded shoes debuting in Spring exclusively in Ogden at GEAR:30.

All kinds, bouldering, sport, trad, alpine, ice, stairs, etc. We'll cover it in Ascent Life, as well as gear updates and reviews, trip reports and ideas, relevant news and upcoming events, as well as interviews with climbers and industry pro's.
